DONALD (DUSTY) W. RHODES , Attorney

Experience:
Dusty was the founding partner of the firm in 1975. His experience is primarily in real estate law, real estate ventures and commercial and residential real estate closings.
Activities:
Dusty is also a retired commercial airline pilot for a major U.S. carrier. He served for six years as a designated pilot for the White House Press Corps which accompanies the President on his travels throughout the world. Dusty is a former chairman of the State of Florida Elections Commission, an appointment made by the governor in 1990. This responsibility includes deciding when laws relating to the Florida election process, campaign reporting, and campaigning tactics have been violated.

E. GLENN TUCKER, Attorney

Experience:
Glenn has been a member of the firm since 1978. His practice deals primarily with real estate matters, trial practice, corporate and business planning, and estate planning and probate. Glenn is a member of the Illinois and Florida Bar Associations and past president of the Collier County Bar Association. Glenn has been the Board Attorney for the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors for over twenty years. Glenn has served on the Marco Island City Council since 1997.
Activities:
Glenn has been active in many organizations on Marco Island including the Rotary Club (President, 1991), the Marco Island YMCA (President, 1989), the Forum Club of Collier County, Inc., Community Foundation of Collier County, the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Collier County. He is currently serving on the Marco Island City Council.

BRENDA C. GARRETTSON, Attorney

Experience:
Brenda is a retired County Court Judge. During her time on the bench, she presided over civil, criminal and family court matters. Brenda also specializes in dispute resolution as an arbitrator and a certified circuit civil court mediator and family law mediator. She is an experienced trial attorney both in the public sector for the Board of County Commissioners and in private practice with experience primarily in civil litigation and family law matters. She currently serves as the Special Master for Collier County Code Enforcement, hearing cases from all areas of Collier County.
Activities:
Brenda has been active in numerous organizations on the national, state and local level including serving as a Discussion Leader on Domestic Violence at the National Judicial College (1990-91), and The Forum Club (President, 1985-86), and as Judge of the Moot Court Competition for the state law schools (2004-05).

JENNIFER DIXON-ABBOTT, Attorney

Experience:
Jennifer is the new associate attorney at our firm. She received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Rollins College and graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. She received the highest grade in Family Law Mediation, and was trained in such diverse areas as elder law and alternate dispute resolution. Jennifer has been a resident of Marco Island for almost 12 years. She served as an intern for our office during her high school, college and law school years, making her an asset to our firm even before obtaining her Juris Doctorate.
Activities:
Jennifer was involved with the Elder Consumer Protection Project, which was funded by the Administration of Aging and sponsored by Stetson. She was also a Teaching Assistant for Professor Rebecca Morgan, director of Stetson’s Center for Excellence in Elder Law. She served as a Stetson Ambassador, the premier leadership group on campus, which entailed representing Stetson at special events, conducting campus tours and mentoring new students during orientation. Currently, Jennifer is an active member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
